본문
From April 28–29, 2022, the Sonnet-Inavi consortium held a kick-off meeting for the second year of the government-funded project “Development of a Level 4 Minivan-Class Autonomous Driving Platform for Designated Area-Based Point-to-Point Mobility.”

Led by Sonnet, the consortium includes Kakao Mobility, Inavi Systems, Thinkware, and DGIST, with support from Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The project aims to deliver a robotaxi service in areas such as Pangyo and Daegu Technopolis.
Users will input departure and destination points, and the system will generate an optimized route for fully autonomous vehicles to operate without driver intervention.
Key components include Sonnet’s patented “Autonomous Driving Safety Map,” integration of Navigation Data Standard, precision mapping, autonomous path generation, and hardware platform development.
The consortium is now accelerating efforts to combine these technologies into a cohesive, next-generation robotaxi service.
